The Sandhousen striker put his side ahead with a stunning strike

FIFA's own Twitter account is already calling for a goal of the year nominee for Australia's Alou Kuol at after his stunning strike at AFC U23 Cup.

With the score 0-0 in first-half injury time, the young Australian put his side ahead against Iraq thanks to a brilliant effort that brought to mind Olivier Giroud's scorpion-kick in the 2016/17 season.

The 20-year-old Australian plays for Sandhousen in Germany's second division after shining for Central Coast Mariners in the A-League, where he scored seven goals in 2020/21.
