The January transfer window is open and Mikel Arteta is out to boost his squad to give them the best chance of maintaining top spot.

The Gunners are five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table and are currently leading the title race.
They haven't lost a league game since September but despite their success, Arteta is keen to add more new faces.
He said: "We knew the importance of getting players early in the summer and that is the same we want to do in January."

So, talkSPORT.com has taken a look at the latest news and rumours surrounding possible Arsenal signings.
Mykhaylo Mudryk
Mudryk has made it clear that he wants to make the move to north London and the Gunners are optimistic that they will get their man, talkSPORT understands.
Arsenal have been chasing their top target throughout the window so far and after making two bids they believe they are edging closer to making the signing.

The Shakhtar Donetsk winger has made a name for himself in Ukraine and has shown his talent in Europe, scoring against Celtic in the Champions League earlier this year.
He has recently been spotted liking an Instagram post captioned #FreeMudryk while rumours spread of him agreeing personal terms with the Gunners.
Although, the club are now 'sweating' over the deal, with Chelsea also looking to swoop for the Ukrainian.

Leandro Trossard
Trossard was left out of the Brighton squad for their FA Cup game against Middlesbrough last weekend, with manager Roberto De Zerbi insisting he 'wants more' from the ace.
Arsenal are now currently monitoring the winger's situation while talkSPORT understands that rivals Tottenham have a genuine interest in the Belgian.
Mikel Arteta could look to bring in further attacking reinforcements for their title bid this January and it is a move that Gabby Agbonlahor can see happening.

He told talkSPORT in November: "Trossard has improved so much. He's adding goals as well, he's a threat.
"He's going to attract a lot of clubs over Europe - Premier League clubs will look at him as well.
"I think he could do a job at Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs.
"So I think now he's playing like he is, maybe January, if Brighton can get a bit of money for him, they might look to sell him in January."

Eden Hazard
Arsenal are reportedly in discussions to sign former Chelsea winger Eden Hazard this month.
According to Media Foot, the Belgian could make the move back to the Premier League after struggling in Spain.

The Gunners will turn to the Real Madrid man if they fail to sign Mudryk as negotiations continue with Shakhtar Donetsk.
The club have reportedly made contact with Real to see if signing Hazard would be a possibility.
Youri Tielemans

Arsenal have had a long-term interest in Leicester's Youri Tielemans and could swoop this January.
The midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning that the Gunners can make contact next month to possibly negotiate a pre-contract deal.
CBS reported Ben Jacobs has previously said that Tielemans has 'his heart set on Arsenal', leaving Arteta in co in a prime position to approach the Belgian.
Leicester are likely to accept an offer this winter to help prevent losing their key man on a free next summer.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic
Arsenal have reportedly opened talks to sign Lazio midfielder Milinkovic-Savic.
He has been linked to the Gunners and Manchester United previously but a move to the Premier League has never materialised.

However, Milinkovic-Savic could be on the move soon with the Serbian not looking to sign a new deal to remain in Serie A, according to Relevo.
Lazio value him at £69-87 million but if he is to let his contract run down to one year remaining in the summer, this price could reduce.
