Arsenal's 'All or Nothing' release date as Amazon Prime release first trailer

mirror.co.uk, 28 June 2022, 12:23
The Gunners are the latest side to have an Amazon documentary filmed for an upcoming release, in which all the action of their failure to finish in the top four was captured

Amazon's 'All or Nothing' series have proved to be successful and popular with both football fans and neutrals alike following the documentaries for Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. And Arsenal are now the next to have inside footage on their 2021-22 season released on TV screens.

In what may be a tough re-watch for Gunners fans, the series captured the best moments from Arsenal's season, in which they failed to secure a top four finish on the final day of the campaign, with the first trailer set to drop on Tuesday, June 28.

Here is all you need to know about Arsenal's upcoming 'All or Nothing' series, including its release date, what it's about and who will feature in the documentary.

When is Arsenal's 'All or Nothing' series released?

Arsenal's 'All or Nothing' series will be released on August 4 2022, as confirmed on the first trailer released by Amazon Prime on June 28.

Arsenal fan and Oscar-winning actor Daniel Kaluuya, of Get Out, Black Panther and Judas and the Black Messiah, is set to narrate the documentary.

Who do you think Amazon should do their next 'All or Nothing' series on? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

How to watch

The documentary is being released on Amazon Prime and will be free to watch for current Amazon Prime customers.

For those who aren't Prime customers, a subscription for the streaming service costs £7.99/month and is included if you have Prime shopping on Amazon.

Alternatively, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial and watch the documentary this way.

Who's in it?

As expected, the documentary will be centred on the whole Arsenal team but the spotlight should mainly be focused on Mikel Arteta, as well as certain individuals such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bukayo Saka.

Members of the club's hierarchy will also be expected to feature, along with the fans. Club legends and football experts may also feature to give their analysis of proceedings.

What to expect

The documentary will primarily focus on Arsenal's 2021/22 campaign, although it may well start with the aftermath of the proposed European Super League, of which Arsenal were one of a number of clubs to submit an application for a breakaway league for Europe's elite clubs.

The Gunners had no European football to endure last year, but their run to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup may feature, as they failed to secure any silverware throughout the campaign, while it is likely to also show their first three league defeats of the season that left them bottom of the table.

The north London derby victory over Tottenham in September should be included, along with Arsenal's impressive run to reignite their top four hopes. Victories over Chelsea and Manchester United in the final few weeks of the campaign will show plenty of drama, before their end of season collapse in which they missed out on a top four finish on the final day of the season.

Away from results on the pitch, there is sure to be an insight into the saga which ultimately saw captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leave the club, having breached disciplinary rules in his final weeks at the Emirates.
