From appearing on the Pro-Am golf circuit alongside stars such as Spider Man actor Tom Holland and Rory McIlroy, to announcing a UK tour in 2025, the British sporting great has certainly kept busy.
And while the news that Murray will coach long-time former rival Novak Djokovic at the upcoming Australian Open may have seemed his biggest surprise, he now looks to have outdone himself again.
With the first Grand Slam of 2025 just weeks away, the 37-year-old has already been spotted in Melbourne as he prepares to help Djokovic land a record-extending 11th title at the hard-court major.
But it appears that Murray has had more than just coaching on his mind since his arrival down under.
In yet another shock move this year, the three-time Grand Slam champion has taken centre stage in the filming of a TV commercial in Melbourne.

According to Australian outlet the Herald Sun, Murray plays the role of an action man who is being chased through the city.
The advert is said to come to a dramatic end, with the Scot escaping his assailants by diving through the front window of a Chinatown restaurant.
And Murray certainly looks to have fully embraced his role as he was pictured in the shooting of the commercial.
In a series of snaps shared on Instagram by Herald Sun photographer Michael Klein, the two-time Wimbledon champion dons mud-stained tennis attire, and sports a cut to his face.

Alongside these photos, the caption read: "Sir Andy Murray doing his best Jason Bourne, filming an action man ad in Melbourne this week."
On filming the commercial, Murray said: "I'm seeing a different Melbourne this time. I've not been around some of these parts before and it's been good fun.
"It's a big shoot. I've never done anything like this before because I never had the time.
"But it's fun to do something like this."
A five-time runner-up at the Australian Open, Murray admitted that his return to Melbourne has made him miss tennis for the first time since bidding an emotional farewell to the sport in August.
He continued: "I stopped playing tennis a few months ago but being back, it's actually the first time I've missed playing tennis again.
"I always loved being able to play in the tournament.
"It's a brilliant time of year and all the players are pumped to compete."
And while Murray will not be able to compete in Australia in January, he has a huge chance at having a hand in a first success at the Grand Slam.
While the former world number one may never have tasted glory in Melbourne, Djokovic is a serial winner at the major, winning 10 titles, four of which came after victory over Murray in the final.
Should the Serb land a 25th Grand Slam crown here, he will become the outright leader in terms of major titles in tennis, as he is currently tied with Australian great Margaret Court on 24.
Djokovic will have Murray's support on hand in both the build up to the tournament, and when he begins his campaign on January 12.
