While it is far too soon to label Adeyemi as a player worthy of being the heir of Ronaldo, the young German was quite literally developed in the Rangnick mould.

As the sporting director of both RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg, Rangnick's furious style is imprinted upon any young player who bursts through any side with the RB endorsement at the start of their name.

And what better way would there be then to commence the era of Rangnick with a player who has 'Gegenpressing' flowing through his veins?

Adeyemi's value at the Red Bull Arena is estimated to be at around £34m.

His fee represents a hefty investment, but his youthful age means his value surges with every passing transfer window, as it did for Sancho.
