Razvan Matiș

Razvan Bogdan Matiș (born 25 January 2001) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga I club Chindia Targoviște, on loan from Farul Constanța.

Club Career

Born in Cluj-Napoca, Matiș is a graduate of the Gheorghe Hagi Football Academy, which served as the youth setup of Viitorul Constanța. On 4 July 2019, he was sent out on a one-year loan to FC Argeș Pitești in the second division. Matiș registered his debut on 27 August, aged 18, in a 3–0 away win over Sportul Snagov, and netted his first goal in a 2–1 away victory against Dunarea Calarași on 13 November.

He totalled 21 games and five goals in his first season as a senior, as "the White-Violets" achieved promotion after finishing second in the league championship. Matiș featured for FC Argeș in Liga I fixtures against Botoșani and Gaz Metan Mediaș, on 21 and 28 August 2020, respectively; however, on 10 September he returned on loan to the Liga II by joining up with Petrolul Ploiești. After making only four appearances, Viitorul Constanța recalled him from his loan in late December.

Matiș finally made his Liga I debut for his parent club on 4 April 2021, replacing Alexi Pitu in the 62nd minute of a 0–1 loss to Botoșani. In the summer transfer window of that year, after Viitorul merged with Farul Constanța, Matiș was loaned out to fellow league team Chindia Targoviște as part of a swap deal.
