Marcus Rohden

Marcus Christer Rohden (born 11 May 1991) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a midfielder, mainly central but can be used as a winger. He plays in Italy for Frosinone. A Swedish international since 2015, he was a squad player for Sweden at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

International Career

Rohden has played in various national team divisions. His senior debut for a national team was with Sweden U21 on 10 September 2012 in the final crucial game against Ukraine U21 played in Kalmar. He substituted with his teammate in IF Elfsborg, Niklas Hult. Sweden won the game with 2–1 and qualified for the play-offs. On 15 January 2015, Rohden scored his first goal in a 2–0 away friendly win against Ivory Coast.

In May 2018 he was named in Sweden's 23 man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
