J'Neil Bennett

J'Neil Lloyd Bennett (born 7 December 2001) is an English professional football player who plays for Crewe Alexandra, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, as a winger.

Club Career

During his stay at the academy, Bennett proved to be one of Spurs' brightest prospects, most notably scoring the first ever goal at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the 24 March 2019, during a 3–1 win against Southampton's under-18. After being a prolific goalscorer with the under-18, the young winger also impressed with the under-19, in the UEFA Youth League, later joining the club's under-23.

Just a few days after scoring a goal in a 2–2 draw against Chelsea's youth in Premier League 2, Bennett made his professional debut for Tottenham Hotspur on the 19 August 2021 during a 1-0 away loss against Pacos de Ferreira, replacing Ryan Sessegnon in the 81st minute.

On 31 August 2021, Bennett joined EFL League One side Crewe Alexandra on loan until January 2022.
