FC Buzau

Fotbal Club Buzau (Romanian pronunciation: [buˈzəw]), commonly known as FC Buzau or simply as Buzau, is a Romanian football club based in the city of Buzau, Buzau County, currently playing in the Liga II.

Founded in the summer of 2016 as FC Buzau, it was renamed SCM Gloria Buzau two years later, simultaneously with its incorporation in the new sports club of the city. "The Squad from Crang" started playing in the fifth tier and earned three consecutive promotions up to Liga II. In 2021, the team returned to the name of FC Buzau.

In spite of not holding the record of the old Gloria Buzau, local supporters consider it the main club of the city. Like its predecessor, FC Buzau plays its home matches on the 12,000-capacity Municipal Stadium.
