Futebol Clube Atletico Cearense, commonly known as FC Atletico Cearense, is a Brazilian football club based in Fortaleza, Ceara state. The club was formerly known as Uniclinic Atletico Clube and Centro de Treinamento Uniclinic.
History
The club was founded on January 24, 1982 as Centro de Treinamento Uniclinic. The club was renamed to Uniclinic Atletico Clube on March 7, 1997 and to Futebol Clube Atletico Cearense on September 21, 2018. They won the Campeonato Cearense Second Level in 1998.
Stadium
FC Atletico Cearense play their home games at Estadio Presidente Vargas. The stadium has a maximum capacity of 20,600 people.
