Dacia Buiucani, also known as CSCT Buiucani, is a Moldovan football club from the city of Chișinau. CSCT is an abbreviation for Sports Club for Children and Youth (Romanian: Clubul Sportiv pentru Copii și Tineret). The club is based in the Buiucani sector of Chișinau. Dacia Buiucani currently play in the Moldovan National Division, the top division of Moldovan football.
History
CSCT Buiucani was founded in 1997 as a football club for children and youth. The club only had youth teams until 2008, when they established a team called CSCA Buiucani and entered the Moldovan "A" Division. In 2011, CSCA Buiucani signed an agreement with FC Dacia Chișinau to create Dacia-2 Buiucani, a reserve team for Dacia Chișinau. This cooperation lasted until 2017, when Dacia Chișinau withdrew from the Moldovan National Division and was dissolved as a club.
Dacia Buiucani's academy has been known as CSCT Buiucani throughout the history of the club, and the name is also present on the club's badge.
