The 24-year-old collected his fifth yellow card of the top-flight campaign in the Cherries' 2-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion, meaning that he will serve a one-match ban in the West Midlands.
Semenyo is one of four guaranteed absentees for Bournemouth alongside Julian Araujo (thigh), Alex Scott (knee) and Luis Sinisterra (hamstring), but Ryan Christie returns from a timely suspension of his own.
Iraola could very well opt for a straight swap of Christie in for Semenyo up front, in turn moving Justin Kluivert to a wide role as the Scotsman pulls the strings in the number 10 slot.
Marcus Tavernier and Evanilson should complete the altered attacking setup, although Iraola also has the option of introducing Dango Ouattara and starting Christie in a deeper midfield position.
Both Tyler Adams and Lewis Cook put in good shifts in the loss to Brighton, though, so the visiting boss may see no reason to break up that pairing, and the same can be said of the regular rearguard.
Indeed, Adam Smith, Ilya Zabarnyi, Marcos Senesi and Milos Kerkez should all line up in front of Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is still keeping Mark Travers at bay despite a couple of shaky displays.
Bournemouth possible starting lineup:
Kepa; Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez; Adams, Cook; Kluivert, Christie, Tavernier; Evanilson
