Botafogo's staggering offer to prevent Real Madrid from signing 'the little Cavani', Matheus Nascimento
Botafogo are offering a lucrative contract to prevent Matheus Nascimento from leaving the Brazilian club. The 18-year-old striker attracted interest from Atletico Madrid back in 2020, with Real Madrid having set sights on him this year.
Journalist Samuel Pain reported in early June on his Twitter account that Real Madrid were preparing an offer to sign Nascimento, a talented Brazilian striker born in 2004.
Known as 'little Cavani', Nascimento's contract with Botafogo runs until 2023. His buyout clause is set at 50 million euros.
