The Lilywhites have fewer than 72 hours to recover from their painful 1-0 London derby loss to Chelsea on Thursday night and are also preparing for the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final with Eintracht Frankfurt, but Postecoglou has not lost any more players to physical glitches.

As a result, only Radu Dragusin (ACL), Dejan Kulusevski (foot) and Kevin Danso (hamstring) will definitely be missing, as Richarlison (calf) is in with a chance of making the squad this weekend.

The Brazilian will be in no place to start, though, so Dominic Solanke should continue to operate through the middle, but Postecoglou could chop and change the Englishman's supporting cast.

Indeed, Brennan Johnson and Mathys Tel are viable attacking alternatives to Wilson Odobert and Son Heung-min, even though the latter has had a direct hand in 18 goals in 16 Premier League matches with the Saints.

Postecoglou's decision to withdraw Lucas Bergvall for Pape Sarr in midweek triggered a hostile response from the away end, to which the Spurs boss responded by cupping his ear after Sarr's strike, which was ultimately disallowed.

Postecoglou - who has insisted that his gesture was simply intended to spark excitement - could now make that alteration from the off, while also re-introducing the likes of Pedro Porro and Archie Gray into a rejigged backline.
