The Lilywhites eked out a nervy 2-1 EFL Cup third-round win over Coventry City on Wednesday night, where Wilson Odobert and Timo Werner both picked up injuries either side of the break.
Postecoglou has admitted that Odobert's issue looks "fairly significant", and while it remains to be seen how severe Werner's problem is, the German would have surely dropped out either way after a pitiful performance.
Odobert and Werner's issues will likely lead to immediate recalls for Dejan Kulusevski and Brennan Johnson, both of whom were inspirational off the bench in Wednesday's comeback win, the latter scoring the winner after a recent torrent of abuse.
Skipper Son Heung-min is also primed to return and could join forces with Johnson and Dominic Solanke in the final third, potentially seeing Kulusevski and James Maddison join forces with Rodrigo Bentancur in another attack-minded midfield.
There is no bad blood between Cristian Romero and Tottenham following some post-Arsenal social media drama, and the Argentine should take his place in a first-choice backline with Micky van de Ven, Pedro Porro, Guglielmo Vicario and Destiny Udogie.
The latter only played 45 minutes on Wednesday, but that change was pre-planned, while Yves Bissouma (groin) and Richarlison (unspecified) are both in the infirmary; the former may have a chance of featuring, though.
Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Kulusevski, Bentancur, Maddison; Johnson, Solanke, Son
