Arne Slot's men have already seen off two top-flight opponents en route to the last eight, smashing West Ham United 5-1 in round three before edging out Brighton & Hove Albion in the last 16.
However, Liverpool have suffered a couple of Premier League title setbacks during the festive season, most recently having to come from behind to salvage a 2-2 draw with Fulham on Saturday.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with the Saints, who were victorious against Stoke City in the EFL Cup round of 16.
Ibrahima Konate
Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Leicester City)
After Liverpool's 2-0 Champions League win over Real Madrid at the end of November, Ibrahima Konate stayed down with a knee injury, one which is expected to render him unavailable until Boxing Day.
Conor Bradley
Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Leicester City)
Fledgling right-back Conor Bradley hurt his hamstring in the same game, and Slot is not expecting the Northern Ireland international to be back in the fold for at least another week or two as well.
Kostas Tsimikas
Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: December 26 (vs. Leicester City)
Completing a trio of infirm defenders, Kostas Tsimikas recently hurt his ankle in training, and the Greece international will likely target a return for the Boxing Day clash with Leicester City too.
LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST
Andy Robertson
Return date: December 22 (vs. Tottenham Hotspur)
Just 17 minutes into Saturday's clash with Fulham, Andy Robertson took the walk of shame for a last-man foul on Harry Wilson, and the Scottish left-back will serve his one-game ban in the quarter-final.
Robertson is joined on the naughty step by Slot himself - the Dutchman has incurred a touchline suspension for accumulated bookings - but the Reds will at least have Alexis Mac Allister back from his own ban.
