A Saudi Arabian club have reportedly tabled an enormous offer to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United this summer.
The Portugal international has handed in a transfer request after the Red Devils failed to clinch Champions League qualification ahead of next season.
According to CNN Portugal, should Manchester United and Ronaldo reach an agreement with the Saudi Arabian club, the Portuguese forward will receive around 125 million euros per year.
The reports claim that Manchester United will get around 35m euros, which is more than the club paid Juventus to acquire the services of the Portugal international last summer. Agents would get a reported 24m euros, with Ronaldo earning a salary of 250m euros if he signs a two-year deal.
Absent from pre-season tour
Manchester United agreed to grant a permission for Ronaldo to delay his return for pre-season preparations. For the time being, there's no news regarding when he will be at Erik ten Hag's disposal.
"We are planning for Cristiano Ronaldo for the season and that's it and I'm looking forward to working with him," Ten Hag said earlier this week.
"I have read [rumours] but what I say is Cristiano is not for sale, he is in our plans and we want success together. I spoke with him before this issue came up, I had a conversation with him and I had a good talk.
"That is between Cristiano and me, what I can confirm is we had a really good conversation together. What I said before, once again, I had a really good talk together."
