There are five changes from the team that took to the field for the first whistle against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League last time out, with Noussair Mazraoui, Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia, Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee coming into the side.

Leny Yoro, Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund are the five players to drop to the bench, with Amorim sticking with his policy of rotating his XI in the early stages of his time at the helm.

Victor Lindelof and Toby Collyer are back from injuries and both make the bench to boost the squad at a vital stage of the season.

Rashford is expected to start through the middle, with Zirkzee in one of the number 10 positions, while Amad Diallo, who has been used as a right-sided wing-back under Amorim, is set to feature further forward.

As for Plzen, Matej Vydra is a notable inclusion, with the 32-year-old, formerly of Watford, Derby County and Burnley, starting for the hosts.

Pavel Sulc has been the team's outstanding player this season in terms of goal contributions, scoring 10 times and registering six assists, and he will also feature in the final third of the field on Thursday night.
