Pep Guardiola threw the gauntlet down to his Manchester City side to clinch the Premier League and lift the Champions League after Thomas Tuchel beat him for the second time in a month.
City still need three points to be crowned champions after Sergio Aguero's shocking penalty miss and second-half goals by Hakim Ziyech and Marcos Alonso sent Chelsea up to third.
Raheem Sterling put City ahead just before half-time - but the Londoners came storming back after Aguero's Panenka-style spot-kick was easily saved by Edouard Mendy.
City face Chelsea again in the Champions League final on May 29 after also losing to Tuchel's side in the FA Cup semi-final last month.
And Guardiola said: "We will see about the impact on our confidence, but we have 20 days until the final.
"It's a different competition so we are going to analyse this game and play the game.
"It is a dream come true for us. Chelsea have been there many times, but this is the first time we will be there.
"We are going to try to approach it in the best possible way.
"I can only say congratulations to Chelsea for the victory.
"Now we go to Newcastle to try to win the Premier League. If not then we go to Brighton. If not, we play Everton.
"After that we will prepare for the Champions League."
Guardiola refused to blame Aguero for the miss.
He added: "Listen, it's selfish because he misses. But if he scores a goal we say what a genius he is.
"That's the reality. I always tell the players to make a decision - Panenka, right, left, whatever you want. But be committed.
"Sergio is a sensible guy. He took the decision and that's all. Nobody is angry."
But Tuchel said: "If we had been 2-0 down at half-time then we would have had no chance to come back.
"But we are now armed with the knowledge that we are capable of beating them. It gives us confidence."
