John Stones has missed Man City's last six matches due to a foot injury and the medical staff are being careful with the player to make sure that a recurrence does not occur again, like has happened in the past, so this game will likely be too soon for him.

Oscar Bobb

Oscar Bobb is back in training for City after fracturing his lower leg on the eve of the season, with Guardiola stating that the player just needs to build up his fitness in order to be considered for first-team action.

Nathan Ake

Type of injury: Muscle

Possible return date: January 22 (vs. PSG)

Ruben Dias's return to the side on Sunday was well-timed, because fellow defender Nathan Ake missed the weekend win at Ipswich after sustaining a muscle injury in the build up to the match.
