Whilst the push for the top four looks to be tougher than ever, talkSPORT's Jamie O'Hara is confident Tottenham Hotspur can finish above the Gunners again - so much so, he's made a very risky promise.
The former Spurs midfielder always shouts about his affection for his beloved club, particularly when they win against fellow talkSPORT host Laura Wood's team, Arsenal.
Last season, the north London rivals battled until the end as they both pushed to finish fourth, with Antonio Conte's side beating Mikel Arteta's Gunners to the coveted Champions League spot on the final day.
Now, the Spurs super fan is so confident his old side will finish higher than their foes in the league again after his team's win over Southampton, that he's committed to a forfeit should he be wrong.
And this promise won't be an easy one for O'Hara to swallow if the Gunners pip Spurs to the post…
"Spurs will finish above Arsenal," O'Hara said on Saturday's Gameday Phone-In alongside former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor.
And soon enough, Gabby pounced on the opportunity to hold his co-host to his statement.
"I'll make a bet with you," he said. "The bet is, if Spurs finish above Arsenal I have to wear a Leeds United shirt for at least five shows."
But there was a catch for O'Hara.
"If Arsenal finish above Spurs, you have to wear an Arsenal shirt for five shows," Agbonlahor added.
However, the Tottenham fan maintained his claim.
"I'm happy to take the bet right now, because we're going to finish above Arsenal," said O'Hara.
Look forward to the Gameday Phone-In at the end of the season!
