The Premier League duo are joined by two Championship clubs in the hunt for the experienced goalkeeper.
Begovic is searching for a new club after leaving Everton at the end of the season following the end of his contract.
The Bosnian goalkeeper moved to Goodison Park from Bournemouth in 2021, making just 10 appearances in two years.
But despite being 36 years of age, Begovic still has aspirations of playing at the highest level.
Discussing his current status, he told talkSPORT: "Still very much a free agent!

"I guess it's that time of year; lots of rumours, lots of stories, everything is going around but it's all good fun.
"The next two weeks will become a little bit clearer.
"There have definitely been some conversations with certain people, certain clubs and I think in the next few weeks they're going to heat up as June goes on into July and pre-season - we'll see what happens."
Asked about his hopes of being a number one, Begovic said: "I certainly still feel like I can do it.

"I've been very fortunate over my career with injuries and I work very hard to look after myself and be in good physical and mental condition so I think I can still play for a few more years as a number one.
"It's about trying to find the right situation. It's not about playing number one at all costs, it's about finding the right people to work with, the right situation and hopefully having some success together."
