Round seven of the 2024 Argentine Primera Division campaign sees Newell's Old Boys and Independiente Rivadavia lock horns at Estadio Marcelo Bielsa on Tuesday.

Off the back of respective victories last time out, the teams will be full of confidence ahead of what should be an absorbing affair here.

Newell's Old Boys left it late in their 1-0 triumph over Barracas Central at Claudio Fabian Tapia on Friday evening.

Currently boasting a tally of 10 points from six league matches so far, El Azul sit eighth in the standings, one point ahead of their next opponents.

Following a first away defeat of the campaign in their last outing on the road, Tuesday's visitors will be keen to give their travelling supporters reason to cheer this time around.

Midfielder Rodrigo Fernandez is available to feature in this one after missing the hosts' victory over Barracas Central through suspension.

Lautaro Rios opened his Rivadavia account at the sixth time of asking last time out and will be looking to pick up where he left off.

Antonio Napolitano is expected to miss out for the second game running but Francisco Petrasso is available for selection having served a one-game ban.
