The winger even compared the Uruguayan to his former Reds team-mate Roberto Firmino.
Salah and Firmino made 245 appearances together between 2017 and 2023, combining for 36 goals during that time.
They also won seven trophies including the Premier League, Champions League and Club World Cup.
During a discussion with fans on Zoom, Salah compared playing with the Brazilian to Nunez as he defended his team-mate.
The mention of Nunez had prompted a shake of the head from one supporter, with Salah responding: "Who do I most like to play with? It was Firmino. Now I feel like I generally like playing with Nunez.

"A lot of people don't like him but I like playing with him. I see Bahaa (the man in the video asking the question) keeps shaking his head not liking [Nunez].
"Nah (laughing), I like playing with him in general. [Nunez is] a player with different skills. Not a lot of people understand his ball."
Nunez has featured alongside Salah 96 times since arriving at Anfield in 2022, with the pair combining for 16 goals in that time.
They also won the Carabao Cup last season to add to the Community Shield triumph on Nunez's debut.

So far this term, Nunez has scored three goals and added two assists in 18 appearances across all competitions.
Although he has faced criticism from fans, talkSPORT co-host Tony Cascarino has also claimed Nunez could be key to Arne Slot's side winning the title.
The former Chelsea striker told Weekend Sports Breakfast last month: "I know that if Darwin Nunez can produce goals, Liverpool can win things more regularly because he has so many attributes in his game. And the fans love him.
"And they always have done. Every time Nunez plays, if he does something, the fans are immediately on Nunez, Nunez, you know, because they love him.
"And it will make Arne's job, Arne Slot's job a lot easier if he gives even more competition to that forward line, because that forward line's already got goals."
Since his arrival from Benfica two years ago, Nunez has scored 36 goals in 114 appearances for Liverpool.
The latest of those strikes came in the win over Aston Villa on November 9.
