The Norway sensation remarkably became the fastest player in history to score 15 Champions League goals, bettering the records of some true greats of the game such as Ronaldo, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Zinedine Zidane.
Incredibly, Haaland has so far only failed to score in two appearances in Europe's premier club competition, and his breakthrough onto the scene this year saw him deservedly claim the 2020 Golden Boy award.
He netted a ridiculous 44 (yes, 44) goals in all competitions during 2019/20, with 28 scored for Red Bull Salzburg in the first half of the season before he joined Dortmund and grabbed another 16 goals in only 18 matches.
This season he has continued his scintillating form and if he keeps it up he could well be in contention for the biggest individual prize of them all next year; the Ballon d'Or.

Goals - 44

First Dortmund player ever to score on his debut in the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and the Champions League
Quickest player to ever reach double figures for goals in Champions Leauge, with ten in seven matches
Won Bundesliga player of the month award for January despite playing 59 minutes that month
But how does Haaland compare to some of the world's other most talented youngsters? The stats are in, and they deliver a clear verdict…
Since his Dortmund debut in January 2020, no youngster has more goal involvements then Haaland, who has scored or assisted on 38 occasions in only 31 appearances.
Chelsea's Kai Havertz is second on the list on 29, with 24 of those coming while he was with Bayer Leverkusen before joining the Blues during the summer.
Haaland's BVB teammate Jadon Sancho takes the bronze medal for goal involvements with 22 in 30 appearances.
Remarkably, Haaland averages a goal or assist every 61 minutes he plays - far and away the best ratio of any other youngster.
To put that figure into some perspective, Manchester United's Mason Greenwood averages a goal or assist every 132 minutes, while Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi records one every 208 minutes.
Haaland is contracted with Dortmund until 2024, but if he continues his sensational form a big European club will surely look to prise him away from the Westfalenstadion in the near future.
Man United tried, and failed, to sign him before he moved to the Bundesliga and it wouldn't surprise anyone if they had another go in the summer.
Haaland, however, will be relishing his status as the world's most talented youngster and if he continues performing as he is right now he could be seen as the world's best in no time.
Erling Haaland continued his electric form on Tuesday evening with two goals as Borussia Dortmund breezed to a 3-0 defeat of Club Brugge in the Champions League.
