Manchester United fan boldly claims 'Cavani and Zlatan are better than Tottenham hero Harry Kane' in stunning argument with talkSPORT hosts

In fact, Karan the Manchester United fan believes there are plenty of veteran frontmen that are still better than the Tottenham star - including Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Why he called in to talk about the England captain is anyone's guess as well - Tottenham weren't even playing.

They're not in action until Thursday, when they play Ludogorets in the Europa League.

But that didn't stop Karan from getting something off his chest - apparently we go on far too much about how good Kane is.

It's not like we're the only ones. Gary Neville - the Manchester United legend - compared Kane to Zinedine Zidane over the weekend.

The striker didn't score, but he was pulling all the strings in Tottenham's 2-0 win over Manchester City, with Neville saying he was 'messing' with City's defenders 'like you wouldn't believe'.

Karan, though, is not convinced.

Go figure.

He said on Tuesday night's Sports Bar : "All the time on your station I hear 'Harry Kane this', and 'Harry Kane that'…

"You're saying he's the best striker in the world, but he's not! He's not even the best striker in the Premier League!"

Asked who is better than the Spurs star, he replied: "Umm, Sergio Aguero? He can't touch his boots!

"Harry Kane, you say he's the best striker in the world? He's not better than Robert Lewandowski…

"He flopped for England at the World Cup, on the big stage, the semi-final…"

To which Goldstein fired back: "He was the Golden Boot winner, wasn't he?"

"Against Panama? Come on," continued Karan. "He bottled it in the Champions League final against Liverpool as well. Your king Harry, he flopped it.

"He's not better than Luis Suarez, not better than Cavani, not better than Aguero…"

And that really set Cundy off…

"What are you on about, man? Karan, you're telling me Cavani, a player Man United signed on a free transfer, is better than Harry Kane right now?"

But Karan stuck to his guns, and took his argument even further.

"Cavani is world-class, look at how many goals he's scored, look at how many titles he's won!

"Harry Kane is not better than Zlatan Ibrahimovic - have you seen what he's doing in a poor AC Milan team?"

Ibra is in stunning form, to be fair. The 39-year-old has been rolling back the years in Italy, with 11 goals and two assists in just ten appearances this season.

"I'd rather have Zlatan Ibrahimovic over Harry Kane all day long," Karan continued.

"Kane is a good player, but what has he won? How many titles has he won? How many Champions Leagues has he won?"

And Goldstein was so stunned, he claimed the caller was 'the only person on the planet' with that opinion, and not ever Zlatan himself would think the same.

Has he met Zlatan? The guy thinks he's GOD, let alone a better striker than the England captain.
