Ederson was on the receiving end of a forceful collision with Cristian Romero in midweek and was withdrawn midway through the second half, with Guardiola stating after the match that the goalkeeper did not have concussion, but had a "problem with his eye".

The Brazilian is set to be assessed ahead of kickoff, with Stefan Ortega waiting in the wings should his services be required once again following his heroics against Spurs.
