Liverpool, Man United 'learn asking price' for Fulham's assist king ahead of summer transfer window

sportsmole.co.uk, 8 March 2025, 14:54
Liverpool and Manchester United have allegedly been told that only offers in excess of £40m would be considered by Fulham for Antonee Robinson, with the defender enjoying a strong campaign.

Robinson, 27, has provided 10 assists in 28 Premier League appearances for Fulham this term, while he has now represented his current side on 179 occasions, scoring three goals and providing 21 assists in the process.

The United States international only signed a new contract at Craven Cottage last July, with his current deal due to run until June 2028, but there is currently speculation surrounding his future.

Liverpool are in the market for a new left-back, with the Reds looking to ultimately replace Andy Robertson, and it is understood that Robinson is high on the club's shortlist.

Man United did boost their left-sided options by bringing in Patrick Dorgu from Lecce over the summer, but he debuted for the Red Devils down the right, and it is believed that the club are still open to signing another left-sided wing-back, especially with Tyrell Malacia not in their long-term plans.

Fulham 'want in excess of £40m' for Liverpool, Man United-linked Robinson

According to Football Insider, Fulham have made it clear that only bids in excess of £40m would be considered for Robinson due to his form for Marco Silva's side this season.

The report claims that the capital outfit are expecting that offers will arrive this summer, but Milos Kerkez's future is said to be linked to Robinson's, with the Bournemouth defender also on the radar of a number of major clubs.

Liverpool and Man United have been credited with an interest in the Hungary international, while both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are also believed to be keen on the 21-year-old.

Kerkez is younger than Robinson and arguably has a higher ceiling, but the latter has been one of the outstanding full-backs in the Premier League during the current season.

Which club are best-placed to sign Robinson?

Liverpool are said to be keen on Kerkez, but if Real Madrid firm up their interest this summer, then it is difficult to imagine the Hungarian joining any club other than the reigning Spanish and European champions.

If that proves to be the case, then Robinson could move to the top of Liverpool's left-back shortlist, and the Reds would seemingly be best-placed to sign the United States international this summer.

Man United are also in the argument considering Luke Shaw's ongoing injury problems, but a move abroad cannot be ruled out, with Atletico potentially in the mix for Robinson should the club miss out on a deal for Kerkez.
