Although Liam Rosenior's side still possess a game in hand, there is now a six-point gap to sixth position, highlighting that they can ill-afford a further defeat here.

Farke is likely to drop Ethan Ampadu back into defence to take the spot of Liam Cooper, the hope being that Ilia Gruev could return after injury.

If that is not the case, Archie Gray could switch into the centre of the pitch with Connor Roberts potentially taking his spot at right-back.
