The Catalan giants will enter the match off the back of a 1-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano - a result that saw them move to the top of the La Liga table, ahead of second-placed Real Madrid on head-to-head points.

Ronald Araujo passed a fitness test to make the bench against Rayo, but he was ultimately an unused substitute.

Meanwhile, there was a start at right-back for Hector Fort last time out, with Jules Kounde dropping down to the bench.

Both Araujo and Kounde are likely to be recalled for the clash with Las Palmas, but it might otherwise be the same XI that took to the field from the first whistle last time out, including another start for Frenkie de Jong.

De Jong has worked his way back into favour under Flick and should again be given the nod alongside Pedri, with Marc Casado and Dani Olmo likely to have to accept spots on the bench once again.

Ferran Torres is an option further forward, but Lamine Yamal, Gavi and Raphinha should again feature as the attacking three behind Robert Lewandowski, who has scored 20 times in La Liga during the 2024-25 campaign.

Barcelona will again be missing Andreas Christensen, Marc Bernal and Marc-Andre ter Stegen due to injury problems, but Fermin Lopez will return to the squad after missing out against Rayo due to a suspension.
