Kate Abdo tells Patrice Evra his audition is going terribly after agitated pundit's row

The former Manchester United defender was at the Etihad working as a pundit - dressed all in red - as City booked their place in the Champions League final with an emphatic 5-1 aggregate victory.

It was 4-0 on a stunning night for the club and emotions were clearly running high.

Evra made a colourful cameo on the CBS Sports Golazo show to explain what happened to Micah Richards, Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and host Kate Abdo.

When asked what happened, the former United man said: "He was looking at me and was like 'this is for you, this is for you'.

"So I came close and said why are you shouting and are so agitated. Last year on TV I said they s*** themselves, that's why they lose against Madrid.

"This year they didn't s*** themselves. That's the truth, Micah. You know I'm an honest man, I'm straight.

"After he apologised."

Hearing the choice language, Henry hid his face as the others laughed, while Abdo made light of the situation.

Joking that he may not be back on the air with the American broadcaster, she said: "The audition isn't going so well because we don't cuss on this show."

Evra added: "It's pooing. Pooing isn't cursing. I tell you, you shouldn't invite me."

Now, Man City are just three games away from winning the treble. They need just on Premier League win to claim the title and are in the FA Cup and Champions League finals.

Emotions were clearly high and Evra wasn't the only one to swear on the CBS show either as Jack Grealish let out an F-bomb when he joined them.

He said: "I'm a bit speechless at the moment, I don't really know what to say. I'm f****g… sorry."
