Things weren't so straightforward in a 1-1 first leg at the Bernabeu, though, and Grealish had to have his wits about him coming up against Carvajal at right back.
But back at home, the England international was loving life, getting up laughing at Carvajal who hauled him to the ground in a last-ditch attempt to stop an attack.

In the first leg, Grealish was left on the floor by the 31-year-old in a very different incident that saw him shoved into an advertising hoarding.
Then, when Carvajal went to check on him, Grealish threw a hand his way, with the Spaniard flopping to the turf in an instant.
Speaking after the incident, Grealish said: "I can't count the number of people that reminded me, 'you know what [Carvajal] is going to be like.'
"It was a good battle and I really enjoyed it out there. I was tired at the end. I've never had cramp before but I had it in both my calves."

Madrid's misery continued after the incident with Eder Militao's own goal and Julian Alvarez's slick finish putting City 4-0 and 5-1 up on aggregate.
