Liverpool are closing in on winning the Premier League title for the first time since 2019-20 after they extended their unbeaten league run to 26 matches with a narrow 1-0 win in Wednesday's Merseyside derby against Everton.
Diogo Jota's second-half effort proved enough to seal a fifth consecutive Premier League home victory for Arne Slot's side, who will now head on their travels for Sunday's meeting with Fulham.
Liverpool will be confident of claiming another positive result, having avoided defeat in all 15 of their Premier League road trips this season.
Salah eyeing Premier League record
Salah has been a key part of Liverpool's recent success on their travels, having scored or assisted at two goals in each of the club's last four Premier League away matches.
The Liverpool star has scored five goals and provided three assists across those four road trips, including a goal and an assist in the Reds' most recent Premier League away game against Manchester City on February 23.
It is the second time that Salah has achieved the feat this season after he registered at least two goal contributions in four successive away league games between November and December.
The Egyptian has emulated Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, who previously achieved the same feat across four games between April and August 2023.
However, Salah now has the opportunity to become the first-ever player to record at least two goal contributions in five consecutive Premier League away fixtures.
Salah's record against Fulham
Salah's hopes of achieving that record may be tempered by the fact he has never registered two contributions in a single match against Fulham.
However, the Egypt international has registered at least one goal or an assist in six of his nine appearances against the Cottagers.
In total, Salah has been involved in five wins, three draws and one defeat in meetings with Fulham, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
The Liverpool star has failed to score in his last three encounters since scoring the decisive goal in a 1-0 home victory in May 2023.
