Ronaldo made the move to Al Nassr in 2023 on a contract until 2025, penning a deal which gave him the highest football salary ever, at €200million per year - including sponsorship deals.
talkSPORT understands Al Nassr are confident Ronaldo will sign a new deal which would extend his stay by a further year.
The contract would also see him take up a role as an ambassador for the 2034 World Cup in Saudi Arabia on a nine-year deal.
