The hosts are top of the table thanks to a higher goal difference than second-placed FC Midtjylland, while the visitors are fifth with nothing left to play for.
Match preview
Brondby come into the final game of the season sat at the top of the Danish Superliga after they picked up three points against Silkeborg in their last outing whilst Midtjylland dropped points in a 3-3 draw with FC Nordsjaelland.
Jesper Sorensen's team is tied on points with the Wolves, but they have a six-goal advantage in goal difference meaning that for Midtjylland to take the title from the Boys from Vestegnen, they need Brondby to either drop points or experience a significant shift in goal difference in Midtjylland's favour.
Fortunately for Brondby they hold the home advantage heading into the final day, where they have lost on just one occasion in the last 11 league outings.
They have not lost to Aarhus at their home ground in any competitive setting since a 3-0 defeat in August 2019, with their last defeat to them in this competition came in December 2020.
Aarhus are also coming into this game in extremely poor form with seven losses in their last 10 outings, although they did bring an end to a run of six successive defeats with a 3-2 victory over FC Copenhagen in their last fixture.
The Whites are unable to finish anywhere other than fifth due to that run of defeats as they trail fourth-placed Nordsjaelland by 16 points and lead Silkeborg by six.
Their last away victory came as a 3-2 win over Nordsjaelland in the Oddset Pokalen, which Aarhus went on to lose in the final to Silkeborg, leaving them without victory on the road in any of their last five.
While Aarhus have struggled for wins in this fixture, three of the last four meetings between the two have ended in stalemate, which may not be enough for Brondby to secure the league title depending on Midtjylland's result.
