The Cherries return from the international break in 13th position in the Premier League table after taking eight points from their opening seven matches.
Bournemouth have lost three of their last four matches, including a narrow 1-0 away victory in their most recent outing against Leicester City.
The South Coast side knows they will have their work cut out if they are to avoid another defeat in Saturday's home game against Arsenal.
However, they will be boosted by the return of Adams, who is set to feature in a matchday squad for the first time this season.
Adams to return for Arsenal clash
The USA international has been out of action after undergoing back surgery following his country's exit from the 2024 Copa America.
Iraola has confirmed that Adams is available to play competitive football for the first time since playing the full duration of USA's Copa America clash against Uruguay in July.
"He lacks some game time but that is normal," Iraola told reports in Friday's pre-match press conference. "He is feeling very well, doing well, has good sensations and has trained very well this break with us. He is ready."
Adams will be desperate to stay fit and available, having struggled with injury since joining Bournemouth from Leeds United in the summer of 2023.
The 25-year-old was restricted to just four competitive appearances during the 2023-24 campaign due to hamstring and back issues.
Iraola confirms Kerkez availability
Like Adams, Milos Kerkez should be available for selection after recovering from an injury which forced him to withdraw from the Hungary squad.
Iraola added: "Milos is the same. He had some days out to recover, but I think he is feeling better. We still have to train today but yesterday both of them trained, so I hope they can both be available."
The left-back has been a regular fixture in Iraola's side, having started all seven of Bournemouth's Premier League matches this season.
Kerkez will try to help Bournemouth beat Arsenal for just the second time in their history after previously winning 2-1 in January 2018.
