Los Blancos will enter the clash off the back of a 1-0 victory over Real Sociedad in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final on Wednesday night, while they were 2-0 winners over Girona in Spain's top flight last weekend.
Carlo Ancelotti's side are second in the La Liga table, only behind leaders Barcelona on the head-to-head record.
Real Betis, meanwhile, will enter the match off the back of a 2-1 victory over Getafe, and Manuel Pellegrini's side are currently seventh in the table, level on points with sixth-placed Rayo Vallecano.
Here, Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at the head-to-head record and previous meetings between the two sides ahead of their contest in Seville on Saturday evening.
Head-to-head record
Previous meetings: 140
Betis wins: 31
Draws: 32
Real Madrid wins: 77
Real Madrid and Real Betis have locked horns on 140 occasions throughout history, and it is Los Blancos that comfortably lead the overall head-to-head record, posting 77 wins to 31, while there have also been 32 draws.
The capital giants have scored 295 times against Real Betis, conceding 150, while the vast majority of their contests have taken place in La Liga, with Real Madrid winning 64 of their 117 games in the league, suffering 26 defeats in the process.
The legendary Ferenc Puskas is the all-time leading goalscorer in this fixture, scoring 21 times against Real Betis during his time at Real Madrid, while former Los Blancos forward Santillana netted 15 times in matches against the Seville team.
The last meeting between the two teams took place at Bernabeu in September 2024, with Real Madrid posting a 2-0 victory courtesy of a double from Kylian Mbappe.
However, three of the last four meetings between the two sides have finished level, including a 1-1 when the pair last locked horns at the home of Real Betis in December 2023.
Real Madrid have actually only won two of their last six matches against Real Betis, but the Seville outfit have not triumphed in this fixture since March 2020 - one of just two victories over Los Blancos since September 2017.
Real Betis' last home defeat to Real Madrid was a 1-0 reverse in August 2021, with their last two meetings in Seville finishing level.
