The Catalan outfit revealed earlier this week that Yamal had picked up a hamstring issue while representing Spain, but he was surprisingly back in training on Thursday, and the 17-year-old is now set to feature this weekend.
Barcelona will definitely be missing Ferran Torres, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Marc Bernal, Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araujo for this weekend's contest, but Robert Lewandowski trained on Thursday after picking up a knock while representing Poland during the international break, and the experienced striker should be available.
Gavi, Fermin Lopez and Dani Olmo could also be back in the squad after recovering from recent problems, although it is unlikely that any of the trio will come straight back into the XI.
Lopez and Olmo have both been missing in recent weeks, but Gavi has been out for almost one year with a serious knee injury, so there will be caution when it comes to his return to the field.
Wojciech Szczesny is also expected to be in the squad, with the experienced goalkeeper now available for selection, although Inaki Pena is likely to continue between the sticks for the moment.
Marc Casado and Eric Garcia have enjoyed a lot of football this season due to the team's injury problems, and the pair are likely to be named in the starting side on Sunday night.
Barcelona possible starting lineup: Pena; Kounde, Cubarsi, I Martinez, Balde; Casado, E Garcia, Pedri; Yamal, Lewandowski, Raphinha
