All of the latest transfer news and rumours from the Emirates Stadium as Mikel Arteta attempts to add to his squad, while a number of his current squad continue to be linked with moves away from north London

The summer transfer window is now well underway and Arsenal have already completed a signing.

The Gunners have welcomed Brazilian youngster Marquinhos to the Emirates Stadium as their first transfer of the window. He has penned a long-term contract in north London having joined from Sao Paulo.

Arsenal are not expected to stop there though as a number of players continue to be linked with a switch to the club, whilst a host of Mikel Arteta's current squad could potentially be on the way out. With all of that being said, Mirror Sport takes a look at the latest rumours coming out of the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal see Osimhen bid turned down

One position that the Gunners are keen to strengthen this summer is at striker and one player that they continue to be linked with is Napoli's Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian striker has caught the eye in Serie A with his goal-scoring appearances over the last few seasons but Arsenal's first attempts appear to have ended in frustration.

According to Il Mattino, the north London club have lodged a £51m bid for Osimhen in an attempt to tempt the Italian outfit into a sale. However, that offer was rejected out of hand with Napoli hoping to earn more than their original £69m expenditure it took to sign the striker from Lille.

Gunners in six-way Scamacca race

Another striker that Arsenal have been linked with this summer is Sassuolo's Gianluca Scamacca. However, there is reported to be a lot of competition in the race for his services.

A trio of Italian clubs are interested in his services with AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus all credited as admirers as per CalcioMercato. There is also foreign interest in Scamacca in the meantime.

German giants Borussia Dortmund are also contenders for the Italian, whilst Paris Saint-Germain are rumoured to be keeping tabs on developments over his future.

Arsenal aim to complete Tielemans deal

Whilst it remains to be seen what striker Arsenal will eventually welcome to north London by the end of the summer transfer window, it is clear that they are prioritising a move for Leicester City star Youri Tielemans.

It appears that a deal could be completed sooner rather than later if reports are to be believed. As per Belgian outlet HLN as per Sport Witness, the Gunners are convinced that they can seal the midfielder's move 'fairly quickly' after the international fixtures. It is further detailed that Arsenal are 'very confident' of completing a transfer for Tielemans.
