Vasilije Janjicic (Serbian Cyrillic: Василије Јањичић; born 2 November 1998) is a Swiss footballer of Serbian descent who plays as a midfielder for FC Zurich.
Club Career
Janjicic came through the youth academy of FC Zurich. In August 2016 he signed a four years deal with Hamburger SV, where he debuted in the Bundesliga on April 4, 2017 against Borussia Dortmund.
After the 2018-19 season he was omitted from the first team by new coach Dieter Hecking and released to look for a new club. On August 27, 2019 he signed a three years contract with his youth club FC Zurich and returned to Switzerland.
