Stadion Sihot

Stadion na Sihoti is a multi-use stadium in Trencin, Slovakia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of AS Trencin. The stadium holds 10,000 people.The ground was built in 1960 and since then was subject to several renovations. These were however rather minor works that included new paintwork or fitting seats in parts of the stands.

History

The stadium was built in the 1960s and used for football matches of AS Trencin sport club. The original capacity was over 22,000 (mostly for standing) spectators. Due to disrepair the capacity was decreased to 16,000 then to 4,500 in 2008. Renovations began in 2014 to increase the capacity to 10,000. The intensity of the floodlighting is 1,200 lux.
