Jurgen Leonardo Locadia (born 7 November 1993) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker or winger.
Club Career
Early career
Locadia, who is of Curacaoan descent, was born in Emmen, Netherlands, and began playing football with the club VV Bargeres, before being discovered by the youth team of FC Emmen. He later stated his passion of football began from his uncle, Jerry, who's also played football, and took him to street football and attend FC Emmen's matches. When Locadia was offered to play for Willem II, he and his whole family settled in Tilburg.
His time at Willem II last a year when Locadia joined PSV Eindhoven on 11 June 2010, signing a two–year contract. Soon after joining the club, Locadia was assigned to the Jong PSV squad and quickly made an impact in his first season with the Jong's team winning the Beloften Eredivisie and. Amid to being in the first team squad in the 2011–12 season, Locadia continued to remain in the Jong PSV squad and maintain his goal scoring form for the Jong's team. Dutch media Voetbal International reported that he agreed to sign a three–year professional contract with the club. On 27 January 2012, it was confirmed that Locadia signed a contract with PSV Eindhoven.
At the start of the 2012–13 season, Locadia started well in the Jong PSV when he scored eleven times in the first six matches for the Jong side, including two braces and a hat–trick. With his first team opportunities coming from the substitute bench, Locadia returned to Jong PSV on 26 November 2012 against Feyenoord U21 and scored twice, in a 5–4 win. He later scored five more goals for the Jong side, including a hat–trick against Jong NEC Nijmegen on 19 February 2013.
