Dennis Hadzikadunic (Bosnian pronunciation: [deːnis xadʒikadunitɕ]; born 9 July 1998) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Russian Premier League club Rostov and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
Hadzikadunic started his professional career at Malmo FF, who loaned him to Trelleborgs FF in 2018. Later that year, he moved to Rostov.
A former Swedish youth international, Hadzikadunic made his senior international debut for Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2020, earning 11 caps since.
Club Career
Malmo FF
Hadzikadunic started playing football at a local club BK Olympic, before joining youth academy of his hometown club Malmo FF in 2012. In September 2016, he signed his first professional contract with the team. He won his first trophy with the club on 26 October, when they were crowned league champions. Four days later, he made his professional debut against Gefle at the age of 18.
In January 2018, he was loaned to Trelleborgs FF until the end of season.
Rostov
On 12 July, Hadzikadunic signed a five-year contract with Russian side Rostov. He made his competitive debut for the club against Dynamo Moscow on 10 November. On 9 July 2020, he scored his first professional goal in a loss to Ufa.
