David Tavares

David Jose Gomes Oliveira Tavares (born 18 March 1999) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Famalicao as a midfielder.

Club Career

On 17 September 2019, Tavares debuted for Benfica's first team as a substitute in a 2–1 home loss to RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League.

On 22 September 2020, Tavares moved to Primeira Liga side, Moreirense on a loan deal until the end of the season.

On 26 January 2021, Tavares loan with Moreirense was cut short and he returned to Benfica to play in Segunda Liga side Benfica B.
