Andrei Chindriș

Andrei Chindriș (born 12 January 1999) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a central defender for Primeira Liga club Santa Clara.

Club Career

First league side FC Botoșani announced the signing of Chindriș on 25 November 2016. At the start of 2017, he was loaned out to Liga II team Academica Clinceni, and for the 2017–18 season joined Știința Miroslava in the same predicament, also in the Liga II.

Chindriș amassed eleven Liga I games in the first campaign upon his return in Botoșani, after which he became a regular starter at the Moldavian club.

International Career

Chindriș was called up for the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, but manager Adrian Mutu did not play him in any game as Romania failed to progress from the group stage.
