Gary O'Neil's men were bested 3-1 by West Midlands rivals Aston Villa last weekend, on a day where Yerson Mosquera suffered a serious knee injury, one which is expected to keep him out for the rest of the season.
Mosquera is one of five Wolves players now sidelined with knee problems, joining Enso Gonzalez, Boubacar Traore, Sasa Kalajdzic and Bastien Meupiyou in that party, and none of the latter quartet will be back this weekend either.
O'Neil is also waiting to learn whether Toti will recover from a thigh injury in time to take Mosquera's place in defence against Liverpool, although Santiago Bueno is an alternative - and more fit - option.
Bueno and Craig Dawson could form the central barrier in front of Sam Johnstone, while Nelson Semedo and rumoured Liverpool target Rayan Ait-Nouri bomb up and down the flanks.
The midfield trio of Andre, Joao Gomes and Mario Lemina should remain untouched - the former two were also linked with moves to Anfield before the Old Gold came calling.
O'Neil could also stick with the unchanged trio of Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Matheus Cunha in the more advanced positions; the latter has been involved in 21 top-flight goals since the start of last term, 14 of his own and seven assists.
Wolverhampton Wanderers possible starting lineup:
Johnstone; Semedo, S. Bueno, Dawson, Ait-Nouri; Bellegarde, Lemina, Andre, Gomes, Cunha; Larsen
