Trent Alexander-Arnold awkwardly jarred his leg in the second half of the midweek defeat to PSG, leading to fears that he may have played his last game in a Liverpool shirt if he has suffered a severe knee or ankle injury.

Slot has insisted that it is too soon to know how severe Alexander-Arnold's problem is, but it would be a surprise to see him involved in the EFL Cup final.

Conor Bradley

Alexander-Arnold could be one of three right-back options on the sidelines at Wembley, as Conor Bradley will not be back from his hamstring problem until after the international break.

Young midfielder Tyler Morton has missed Liverpool's last nine matches with a severe shoulder injury, and it is not clear when the 22-year-old might be fit to play again.
