Arne Slot's men are on the cusp of glory thanks in no small part to the magnificent Mohamed Salah, who is in hot pursuit of the all-time record for the most Premier League goal contributions in a single season, currently sitting three goals/assists away from an unrivalled 48 involvements.
Ahead of Liverpool's Premier League clash with Leicester City, Sports Mole takes a look at Mohamed Salah's record against the Foxes.

Salah witnessed his Chelsea side ease to a 2-0 victory over Leicester back in the 2014-15 Premier League season, but he was not involved in the contest during his ill-fated Stamford Bridge stint.
However, following his arrival on Merseyside in 2017, Salah immediately laid down a marker at the King Power during the early stages of the season, heading home his side's first goal of a thrilling 3-2 success.
The Egyptian would then proceed to bag a brace to cancel out Jamie Vardy's opener in a 2-1 Anfield win later that season, as he enjoyed the perfect start to life against Leicester before the contributions dried up.
Indeed, Salah failed to score or assist in four successive league matches against Leicester in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 Premier League seasons, but the Reds still managed to take 10 points from a possible 12 anyway.
The ex-Chelsea man would also miss his side's 3-0 Anfield win over the Foxes in November 2020 after testing positive for coronavirus, but he would open the scoring at the King Power later that season.
However, Leicester proceeded to hit three in a late flurry to condemn Salah to his first defeat against them in Liverpool colours, and he was also nullified in Leicester's 1-0 win on home soil in the 2021-22 campaign.
Further down the line, the electrifying Egyptian came up with a terrific hat-trick of assists when the Reds slayed the Foxes 3-0 at the King Power Stadium in the last knockings of the 2022-23 campaign, helping to send Leicester back down.
After the Foxes bounced straight back up, Salah was inevitably on target in a 3-1 home victory in late 2024, taking his total to five goals and three assists from 12 matches in this particular fixture.
Such numbers are relatively modest by his standards, but Salah has also been on the winning side nine times out of 12, only suffering two defeats and playing out one draw.
