sportsmole.co.uk, 2 April 2025, 09:39
Arsenal will be aiming to make it three Premier League wins in a row when they head to Everton on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners will enter the contest at Goodison Park off the back of a 2-1 home success over Fulham in England's top flight.

Mikel Arteta's side are currently second in the Premier League table, nine points behind leaders Liverpool, while they will be in Champions League quarter-final action next week at home to the reigning European champions Real Madrid.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their contest with Everton, who drew 0-0 with the Gunners in the reverse league game at the Emirates Stadium earlier this season.

Gabriel Jesus

Status: Out

Type of injury: Knee

Possible return date: Unknown

Jesus ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) against Manchester United in the FA Cup in January, and the Brazilian forward faces a battle to return to action before the end of 2025, with his campaign certainly over.

Gabriel

Status: Major doubt

Type of injury: Hamstring

Possible return date: April 5 (vs. Everton)

Gabriel limped off against Fulham on Tuesday night with a hamstring problem, and the centre-back will now need to be assessed, but he is a major doubt for the game with Everton, in addition to the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Arsenal.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Out

Type of injury: Knee

Possible return date: Unknown

Tomiyasu recently underwent an operation to treat the serious knee injury that has limited him to just the one appearance this season, and the versatile defender faces a battle to return before the end of 2025.

Kai Havertz

Status: Out

Type of injury: Hamstring

Possible return date: Unknown

Havertz's season came to an end when he suffered a severe hamstring injury during Arsenal's Dubai training camp, with the Germany international currently working to be ready for the start of the 2025-26 campaign.

Riccardo Calafiori

Status: Out

Type of injury: Knee

Possible return date: Unknown

Arsenal are expected to be without Calafiori for the next few weeks due to the knee injury that he suffered in the first leg of Italy's UEFA Nations League quarter-final with Germany during the recent international break.

Jurrien Timber

Status: Major doubt

Type of injury: Knee

Possible return date: April 5 (vs. Everton)

Timber was substituted in the second half of the clash with Fulham on Tuesday due to a knee problem, and the Netherlands international is now a major doubt for the clash with Everton at Goodison Park.

Ben White

Status: Minor doubt

Type of injury: Muscle

Possible return date: April 5 (vs. Everton)

White was not in the squad against Fulham due to a slight muscular problem, but there is a strong chance that the Englishman will be available for selection against Everton this weekend.
