Leon Bailey replaced Ramsey before being substituted himself against Bayern, so his lack of fitness could see Jaden Philogene start on the left flank instead, although Ian Maatsen is a viable alternative.

Unless Onana makes a speedy recovery, Ross Barkley should be summoned to cover for the Belgian in the centre of the park, while Youri Tielemans will no doubt hold his position.

Selected for the France squad over Real Madrid's Ferland Mendy, Lucas Digne will most likely comprise part of an unchanged backline alongside Ezri Konsa, Pau Torres, Diego Carlos and Emiliano Martinez.

Tyrone Mings (knee), Boubacar Kamara (knee) and John McGinn (thigh) are still out of action, but the former two are on the cusp of coming back from their lengthy absences.
